Welcome to the “Beastblog“, a weekly blog centered around the edcuation, appreciation, and celebration of loc culture and more. My goal with this blog is to create a safe space to ask questions, share experiences and help guide you on your loc journey. As my expertise continues to grow so will my services and this blog will also funcation as a time capsule representing growth and development.

My personal journey with locs began when I was 13 years old with my first set of locs, which admittedly where a mess! Wrong techniques, wrong products, varying sizes, no routine, again it was a mess. Fast foward to 2019, after deciding not to reenlist in the Navy, I began my third set of locs. Two years after, I met the illustruous Locsbybee and became her first student success. three countries later I have learned a LOT about the locing process. If you have had the chance to work with me you know that I am passionate about healthy strong hair. I am also passionate about sharing information that you can use to make sure you have the BEST loc journey that you can.

That is why the "BEASTblog" was created. After three set of locs, years of miseducation pertaining to locs, and a passion for culture, people, and their success, I made a conscious effort to become The goal is for this to be a safe place for us in the loc community, as well as those who aspire to JOIN the loc community. Feel free to ask questions and share stories to and hopefully it can help someone.

Throughout this blog I will will be terms we will use frequently. Let's go over a 2 important ones:

• Locs: a hairstyle where rope-like strands are created by locking hair, that one would regularly comb and shed, into itself.

• Loc Journey: a term used to describe the journey through the stages of forming and growing locs. The most important thing to know is every journey is different and requires a lot of acceptance and patience.
